The first generation of the Ammerlaan family grew cucumbers. Since the 1980s, the company has switched to tropical green plants, most of which come from Central America. In this way, the company grew to a size of 6.5 hectares of greenhouses, where many thousands of plants are grown each year with great care and skill. Currently, the first of the third generation of Ammerlaans is working in the company.
By growing a wide range of green plants in an environmentally friendly way, Ammerlaan wants to contribute to the green experience in offices, business premises and homes all over the world.
